Welcome to Abe Hostels. By staying at our hostel, residents agree to follow the rules and guidelines mentioned below to ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful living environment for everyone.
1. Rent and Payment
Rent must be paid in advance every month.
Charges for electricity, water, gas, and waste disposal are included in the rent. However, excessive usage of utilities may result in additional charges, which must be paid immediately upon notification.
2. Security Deposit
A security deposit equal to one month’s rent must be paid at the time of admission.
The deposit will be refunded after vacating the hostel subject to inspection and deductions for damages or unpaid dues.
If a resident vacates the hostel within 6 months, the entire deposit will be forfeited.
3. Absence Policy
Rent will remain payable regardless of the number of days a resident is absent from the hostel.
Residents must inform the hostel owner if they will be absent for more than 24 hours.
4. Entry and Exit Timings
The hostel gate closes at 8:30 PM.
Residents must return before this time unless prior permission has been obtained from the hostel owner.
5. Visitor Policy
Visitors and guests are not allowed inside the hostel rooms or premises.
6. Conduct and Discipline
Residents are expected to maintain proper discipline within the hostel. The following are strictly prohibited:
Smoking
Alcohol consumption
Drug usage
Any activities that disturb other residents
Violation of these rules may result in immediate expulsion from the hostel.
7. Room Usage
Rooms are strictly meant for residential purposes only.
Cooking inside rooms is not permitted. Cooking is allowed only in the designated kitchen area.
8. Cleanliness and Maintenance
Residents must keep rooms and bathrooms clean.
Rooms should be cleaned by residents at least once a week.
Common areas will be cleaned by staff appointed by the management.
Residents must clean kitchen appliances and utensils after use.
9. Waste Disposal
Residents must follow proper waste disposal practices.
Sanitary waste must be disposed of using the designated disposal system or incinerator.
Improper disposal causing plumbing damage will be charged to the resident.
10. Electricity and Water Usage
Residents must avoid wasting electricity and water.
Lights and fans should be switched off when leaving rooms.
11. Property Care
Residents are responsible for maintaining hostel property including walls, furniture, fittings, corridors, and bathrooms.
Any damage caused will be charged to the resident(s) responsible.
12. Keys and Security
Residents must keep their room keys safely.
Lost keys must be reported immediately.
Duplicating keys without permission is not allowed.
13. Personal Belongings
Residents are responsible for their own personal belongings.
The hostel management will not be liable for any loss or damage.
14. Room Inspection
The hostel owner or authorized staff may inspect rooms in case of emergencies or exceptional situations.
15. Pets
Pets are not allowed in the hostel premises.
16. Room Change
Requests for room changes must be submitted in writing and will be approved based on availability and management discretion.
17. Vacating the Hostel
Residents must leave the room in the same condition as when it was occupied, considering normal wear and tear.
The security deposit will be refunded only after inspection and settlement of any damages or dues.
18. Liability
Abe Hostels will not be responsible for residents after they leave the hostel premises.
19. Rule Violations
Failure to comply with any of the above rules may result in warnings, penalties, or immediate termination of accommodation
